The Network Secure Access team is part of the Network Engineering & Secure Access Management organization. This team delivers secure remote access solutions across the enterprise. For instance, virtual private network (VPN) connections, secure data center out-of-band (OOB) access to network equipment and encrypted tunnels for B2B traffic.
Perform as a technical subject matter expert for various platforms/applications within network security infrastructure portfolio
Responsible for defining and implementing new alerts as new devices are brought online and need to be monitored.
Ensure operation procedures are adhered to, and as needed updated, to support capacity, performance, and availability of Network Secure Access-supported platforms
Demonstrate well-rounded technical expertise and understanding of computer architecture, computer networking, and computer security
Write new operational procedures, as needed, insuring all procedures are clear and auditable
Participate in the design of complex global upgrades and migrations
Maintain strong working relationships across organizations, vendor partners, and internal customers
Ensure infrastructure is managed and operated in accordance with AXP policies and standards including Security compliance
Maintain a strong technical and security background, by keeping up with the latest industry best practices
5+ years proven experience using network security infrastructure, automation tools, firewalls, systems administration and troubleshooting tool such as WireShark
Proficient in remote access technologies, network access controls, encryption
Self-motivated with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines (work under pressure with a positive attitude, be flexible, and prioritize tasks)
Experience coding within an Agile framework, using Python and C++ development environments
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
Associate’s in Computer Engineering or three years of college courses required; Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering or five years of college courses preferred
Additional qualifications desired are expertise in one or more of the following technologies: Certes TrustNet, Cisco AnyConnect, Juniper Pulse Secure, F5 VPN, Out-of-Band network connectivity appliances such as Lantronix, and Aruba remote access points
Employment eligibility to work with Company in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
