Company Live is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
The Facility Director is responsible for the management of facility operations, maintenance & operating staff, capital projects and long term planning for a large recreational facility. Duties also include relationship management with local utility providers, equipment providers, local building and safety and health departments as well as the analysis of business operations and reporting. This is a full time position located in Indio, CA.
Essential Duties:
• Manage the maintenance and operation of the facility. Conduct Manage projects from the design/review process through completion. Supervise all capital improvement projects at the facility.
• Supervise the work of several direct reports including property manager, landscape designer, civil engineer and other third party vendors. Review timesheets, create schedules and approve vacation requests. Conduct performance evaluations and make recommendations for salary increases when necessary.
• Build and maintain relationships with local utility providers, equipment providers, local building and safety and health departments.
• Review expenses and ensure compliance with company accounting procedures. Preparation and timely completion of annual budgets. Complete monthly budget reforecasting ensuing that projects are within parameters of departmental budget.
• Complete reports and analysis of the facility operations as requested. Prepare presentations and attend regular meetings with upper management and executives to discuss operations, maintenance and improvements.
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
1. A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
Area of Study:
2. Years of related work experience: 7-10
3. Exceptional computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
4. Extremely organized with good attention to detail.
5. Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
6. Strong interpersonal skill with the ability to build and cultivate relationships.
7. Ability to multi task, work in stressful situations and meet hard deadlines.
8. Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays.
