Human Resources support for Front Office and Hourly Recruiting including daily HR Front Office and Primary Customer Service interface (incl. Employee Badges/Access Control Administration) as well as processing all plant personnel changes, layoff, recall, hiring, terminations, records, personnel data and Hourly Recruiting.
Daily customer and employee relation support of the Hourly Personnel office including attendance reporting, recruiting, orientation, time record completion, performance appraisals and provide assistance with these activities as needed and/or requested
Manage and track plant wide attendance programs, pay rate increases, seniority/supervisor lists, and departmental flow coordination including data entry.
Maintain plant wide headcount reporting, departmental invoice processing, and completion of all employment/unemployment verifications.
Processes all plant personnel changes including layoff, recall, hiring, terminations, personnel records and data.
Assist with, coordinate, and perform necessary actions within the Personnel area, in order to keep and maintain quality and environmental certification, comply with the Daimler Code of Conduct, and ensure a harassment free workplace.
Local liaison between supervision and our claims management services regarding FMLA, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability cases; coordination of all additional leaves of absences and processing of these leaves.
HR/Administration in conducting wage surveys, interpreting and implementing operating policies for plant, maintaining open communications with all employees.
Conducts electronic screening and phone screening of candidates, updating status in our tracking system. Manages and facilitates onsite interviews and hiring events.
Maintains constant communication with HR partners on active candidates.
Also regularly discusses future hiring needs and backup candidates.
Develop a full understanding of and utilizes reporting features of recruiting systems, including requisition reports, candidate status reports, etc.
Coordinates background and medical screens on applicants, and reference checks where appropriate.
Possess and maintains on-going knowledge of the latest recruiting strategies utilizing a high level of creativity and latitude.
Coordinates New Hire Orientation, onboarding and training of new hires.
Other projects and tasks as assigned by manager.
Bachelor's degree OR an associate's degree with 1 year of related experience OR 4 years of related experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
Excellent written and interpersonal skills are required.
Previous Human Resources experience is preferred.
Previous demonstrated recruiting and employment-related experience is preferred.
