Company is seeking a motivated individual to serve as the key initial point of contact for the Office of Human Resources & Payroll staff.
The HR Specialist will have the ability to:
successfully triage HR/Payroll inquiries as appropriate.
-communicate professionally and confidentially;
-interact courteously and effectively at all times with students, staff, faculty, and others outside the university
organize and accurately scan sensitive data into the HR systems.
demonstrate initiative in managing assigned processes that insure data integrity at all levels.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
This position must possess the:
ability to multi-task efficiently and independently while meeting established deadlines in a busy environment.
ability to communicate effectively and professionally by telephone; and to interact courteously and effectively at all times with students, staff, faculty, and others outside the university;
ability to learn, interpret, and explain policies and regulations; the ability to independently respond to inquiries.
Knowledge of web-based information systems and electronic scanning software required. Working knowledge of Microsft Office software including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Requires high standard of motivation, confidentiality and ethical behavior.
-Demonstrate initiative to learn new tasks and take on new challenges.
Graduation from a four year college or university; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
For administrative purposes during the implementation of Career Banding this Journey level position is considered a Salary Grade 66.
