We are building our team and looking for a dynamic Human Resources Director based Lafayette, CO who will help us create the best plant-based protein company in the world. The Human Resources Director has ownership of functions related to talent acquisition, on-boarding, positive employee relations, retention, training and development, HR compliance, benefits administration, and compensation for our Lafayette-based corporate team as well as our growing field-based operations team.
Translate HR policies and practices into practical labor strategies that support the company’s mission and values.
Balance transactional demands with senior leadership’s need for strategic vision and partnership.
HR oversight of operational activities, which include:
◦ Implementing process improvement and best practices in alignment with short and long-term strategy.
◦ Conducting workplace investigations, coaching, counseling, and issuance of corrective action.
◦ Lead annual compensation and performance evaluation programs.
Determine professional development needs, skill gaps, implementation and evaluation of program effectiveness.
Administer in-house training and development programs for all levels of team members.
Ownership of enterprise-wide initiatives for the Business Unit.
Create and disseminate the communication and coordination of annual performance programs.
Oversee compliance related to OSHA, EEO, AAP, and DOL.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other related domain.
Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources leadership experience.
HR Generalist background with broad knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, positive employee relations, and team member development.
Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills.
Proven experience counseling and influencing senior leadership.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to think critically in efforts to resolve complex and/or ambiguous situations.
Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects.
High degree of integrity.
Extremely well organized.
PHR / SPHR preferred.
Willing and able to travel as needed.
