We seek an HRBP for our technology group – Data Science, Engineering, and Product. This BP will play a key role within HR; we are a technology company, so our technology teams are vital to our success.

Utilizing deep knowledge of HR practices, the Company and the assigned business unit(s), HRBPs work closely with management and employees to ensure the following imperatives.
• Foster an exemplary employee experience
• Help ensure optimum employee productivity
• Support policies, practices and programs that reflect the core values of the organization
• Work to enhance working relationships and morale and increase retention
Key responsibilities
• Employee Relations:
◦ Engage with employees and managers to stay informed regarding employee satisfaction, noting trends and patterns and offering sound advice and recommendations
◦ Manage and resolve employee relations issues in order ensure a safe and fair work environment for all employees
◦ Partner with line management to coach and advise on performance management and how to most effectively work with direct reports
◦ Ensure compliance with local and national employment law
◦ Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
◦ Assist employees with expatriate assignments, visa applications and associated HR matters
◦ Review and ensure accuracy in payroll submissions and reporting
◦ Manage leave of absence process and claims, including short- and long-term disability, workers’ compensation and FMLA
• Initiatives and projects include:
◦ Partner with colleagues in talent acquisition, total rewards, compensation and HR management to deliver the most effective:
# orientation and onboarding efforts
# learning and development activities
# career pathing and internal mobility
# Total Rewards programs administration, including benefits, compensation, and perks
# performance management process and programs
# people surveys
# employee recognition programs
# leadership development
• Assist in the planning and management of company (employee) events
Qualifications
• 4+ years directly relevant experience, at least two as a Generalist or Business Partner
• Experience as a BP to technology teams in a fast-paced environment
• Obvious career progression within the field of Human Resources
• Startup or small company experience preferred; adtech experience a plus
• Experience with an HRIS, preferably SuccessFactors
• 4-year college degree
• PHR certification and/or professional certificate in HR Management or related field preferred
