Head of SEO
If you are passionate about SEO, data analysis, digital marketing, and have a healthy interest in financial services, then consider becoming Company’s Head of SEO.
In this role, you will be directly responsible for managing Citizen’s Bank presence on organic search engines. You will manage an SEO Analyst, own the SEO roadmap, and partner with Product and Technical teams to deliver against the roadmap.
Having a strong business sense is critical: You will need to prioritize the most scalable and effective opportunities using available resources. You will need the right balance of marketing and technology experience, as well as business judgment and technical aptitude.
The position reports to the Head of eBusiness and works closely with the Enterprise Content Marketing Team, among others.
Develop and implement a best in class SEO strategy
Own and present performance reports to measure successes and opportunities
Create recommendations to strengthen the on-page presence of targeted keywords where they make sense.
Conduct keyword research which leads to insights and action items
Conduct site audits and competitive analysis to proactively discover areas of opportunity Outline recommendations in PowerPoint and push them through the publishing process.
Recommend and optimize new pages that could branch off of product pages, based on search volume analysis and current inventory.
Analyze traffic and conversions data in Adobe Analytics.
Find and pursue opportunities to acquire high quality backlinks
Be the thought leader on search technology and search industry changes, gaining a deep knowledge of desktop, mobile and social search
Develop best practices for on-site and technical enhancements and work with the product and tech teams to make sure all new pages comply with SEO best practices
Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of experience in SEO, Content Marketing and Content Growth
Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Proficiency with a tool such as BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Moz, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Analytics etc.
Experience with website optimization tools
Strong analytical skills to review data, interpret results, and turn insights into actionable and measurable strategies.
Writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and nurture relationships, influence key stakeholders, and resolve conflicts independently to mutually agreeable solutions.
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a desire to impact results
Bachelor’s degree, advance degree a plus
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm
