What You'll Do
The Senior Healthcare Services (HCS) Business Development Representative is an individual contributor responsible for lead generation, prospect identification and qualification, understanding the prospect's needs and have the knowledge to map those needs back to the Company products and services that can add value to the prospect's business. The Senior HCS Business Development Representative is also responsible for managing prospects through the sales and contract cycles and transitioning prospects to the Implementation and Client Experience teams, as appropriate. Specifically, the Senior HCS Business Development Representative will:
-Establish a prospect call plan to identify and generate qualified leads in an established geographic territory within the appropriate distribution channels which could include Health Plans, Third Party Administrators (Benefits and Medical), Software/Technology companies, Exchanges, Enrollment Companies, 401k Providers, Employers, Brokers, etc.).
-Solicit, coordinate internally and respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) to obtain new HSA, Multi-purpose debit card, virtual payment and other healthcare payment related business.
-Coordinate with internal HCS teams in order to qualify and/or determine feasibility for new business opportunities.
-Consistently update and report business activity in the form of a pipeline or CRM system to provide transparency throughout the HCS team.
-Prepare and present customized proposals to Healthcare Services prospects and clients.
-Assist other Company lines of business, when appropriate, with healthcare payment discussions between Company and non-Company HCS clients (Ex: Commercial, Treasury, etc.).
-Provide an appropriate level of support to internal teams such as Implementation and Client Experience, as prospects transition to clients such that all necessary parties receive a complete knowledge transfer.
-Participate in industry conferences and events, and other activities, as required.
-It is expected that this position will require between 20-40% travel.
-Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- 6 years experience in the healthcare payments industry
- 8+ years prior sales experience
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree

-Demonstrates ability to identify and pursue business leads with revenue generation and profitability front of mind

-Demonstrates ability to work both independently and collaboratively
-Demonstrate ability to function with tight deadlines
-Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Demonstrates excellent public speaking experience in all size groups and environments
-Demonstrates excellent work habits - follows established policies and procedures
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
