Team members use a variety of tools and equipment to manufacture and/ or disassemble/ reassemble products in the manufacturing and repair of electrical components.
Interpret work orders, production routers, BOM, wiring diagrams, product manuals and/ or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Knowledge of ESD handling procedures.
Understand and comply with ISO9000 requirements.
Ability to identify electronic assemblies.
Perform go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Proficient in the set-up and operation of terminal crimping, wire stripping, wire braiding and wire stamping equipment
Demonstrate competence in the manufacturing of first time builds and high volume wire harnesses using lay-out boards, wiring diagrams and product manuals.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Type of experience – 6-12 months related harnessing experience
Must be trained on ESD handling procedures.
Ability to use basic measuring devices, examples include rulers, calipers, etc.
Display general understanding in the use of windows based computer system.
Ability to utilize hand tools to perform assembly functions (ex. Screw drivers, measuring devices, adjustable end wrench, various crimping devices.
