Job Description:
This role will support the Institutional & Personal Retirement Operations (IPRO) department within Wealth Management (WM) Operations. This role will report directly to the Manager of the Payroll Processing department, working closely with Customer Service Managers (CSM), Plan Sponsors (PS), and management to support 401K inbound payroll processing functions.
Role will include, but not limited to:
- Receive and process incoming 401K payrolls to include contribution and loan repayments
- Correct incoming files to account for plan rejects
- Work directly with the existing Plan Sponsors, CSM, and related supporting areas
- Monitor assigned plans as a scheduled
Enterprise Role Overview:
Provides technical and analytical support in a GWIM operations function for one or more product areas such as funds transfer, collateral mgt/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support, clearance/settlement, documentation/confirmations, customer service, new accounts, client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and working with multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May participate in projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes. As a technical expert, acts as a unit advisor providing technical support to less experienced associates. This role typically requires 3+ years experience in operations functions and a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1+ years of financial experience, preferably within Wealth Management Operations (WMO)
- Highly organized
- Self-starter attitude
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects in a short time period
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to hold others accountable without direct supervision
- Flexibility with ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to influence/challenge and negotiate to keep all parties engaged in the process
- Effective Excel and Word skills
- Proven ability to provide comprehensive solutions to complex needs and/or problems
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Previous processing and/or data entry experience
- 401K knowledge
- Previous internal/external customer contact experience
