ABOUT THE ROLE:
The PR Coordinator will assist the PR Manager in delivering all PR activity outlined in the quarterly PR plans for the brands within the Company. Activity will focus on implementing both day-to-day tactics (always-on press office approach) and ‘big impact’ ideas and may include: writing and distributing media materials, proactively pitching to media, assisting with event management, responding to daily media requests, key influencer activity and reporting.
The role will also feed into the strategic development of monthly/quarterly PR plans for Australia/New Zealand across each of the brands.
This role will work closely with each brands’ Marketing teams to ensure all relevant assets and information is delivered to both Australia and international markets in time to meet media deadlines.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Knowledge of consumer marketing, and international PR preferred
• Experience in creation of digital/social communication.
• Experience working with media and building strong rapport across print, digital and social media platforms
• Experience in supporting project management including resource management, time management and forecasting
• Exposure in executing and managing ambassadorial programs
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences across multiple channels
• Tertiary qualifications in Communications or PR is preferable
