ABOUT THE ROLE
The Communications Coordinator will support the PR & Communications Manager – USA on the creation, delivery, execution and evaluation of Internal Communications campaigns for the region, ensuring campaigns align to the overall strategic planning and direction. This role will work closely with key internal stakeholders across all Company brands and support services. This role will also help support global Communications projects undertaken by the PR and Communications team, ranging from employee events, Foundation activities, Corporate Communications initiatives and events, production of collateral and special projects as requested by the Group.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, PR or creative writing.
• At least 4+ years experience in Internal Communications is preferable.
• A thorough understanding of retail or similar business operations and comfortable at establishing relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, simplify complex problems and focus on priorities.
• A demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships, both internally and externally.
• Understanding and working knowledge of social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and basic designer skills (photoshop).
Ability to think both creatively and practically
Adopts an energetic, enthusiastic and proactive approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
