Summary of Duties
The Grant and Contract Coordinator reviews, approves and provides advice for preparation of extramural proposal budgets and cost information; conducts institution-wide fiscal and administrative evaluations and reviews of grant and contract proposals; negotiates resulting awards for establishment of budget accounts; prepares subcontracts for execution between the university and external business, governments and organizations; provides detailed cost analysis information for funding agencies when proposals are routed through agency cost analysis systems; and performs other related duties as assigned.

A Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or allied field and two years of experience in grant or contract administration; OR equivalent education/experience.
Certified Research Administrator (CRA).
Experience in the review of grant and award documents.
Experience in budgeting.
Experience with electronic research administration (Fastlane, Company website, etc).
