The Global Sourcing Manager is responsible to develop, implement and lead sourcing strategy and operating plan for our MR business. Scope of the job is about managing $500M spend, ~375 suppliers cross 4 design centers (Waukesha, Florence, Aurora and Beijing) and 5 manufacturing sites (Florence, Monterrey, Aurora, Tianjin and Bangalore) through a team of ~13 sourcing leaders with the active support of the extended sourcing team including commodity leaders, Supplier OTD leaders, SQEss and SCEs
De-risk supplier base proactively, from identifying the risk to executing the mitigation plan, in partnership with the MR business team
Select strategic suppliers for any NPI and Supplier Transfers and get suppliers ready to deliver targeted business requirements (Quality, Fulfillment, Cost and Cash) per the program milestones, in partnership with the Supplier management, Supply chain and Engineering teams.
Drive product costs down by 10%+ year over year ($60M cost out approx. yearly) through supplier negotiation and design change ideas, partnering with engineering and manufacturing, with a total cost mindset.
Support Supplier Quality, ensuring supplier compliance with FDA, EHS, transportation and other
regulatory and reputation requirements and support supplier & parts quality initiatives
This role can be located in Waukesha, WI or Florence, SC
