Description
Company seeks a Vice President for Global Payroll Strategy. We are looking for a strong, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and extensive knowledge of process design and standardization. The successful candidate will work closely with HR Business Partners to evaluate current upstream and downstream processes to improve overall efficiency along with designing short-term and long-term strategies for continuous improvement. This role will also be a part of the Global Payroll Management team which will provide exposure and interaction with the international payroll and HR teams.

You will lead and develop business strategies that will enhance current and future operating models - ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed and are relevant by creating metrics.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Managing complex projects with multiple work streams and multiple stakeholders; coordinate strategy discussions with senior leaders
- Assist in defining project scope, recommending approaches, and managing execution of major strategic projects
- Help establish analytical frameworks to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex business/operation problems
- Develop and apply appropriate methodologies for upstream and downstream processes, create metrics and establish SLA to improve/enhance operations.
- Manage and conduct secondary research to analyze the global payroll environment to help senior leaders understand the industry opportunities
- Synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis into implications, key trends and/or recommendations
- Develop content for senior management presentations and reports to communicate and achieve buy-in for strategic recommendations
- Develop effective working relationships with staff, peers, and senior internal clients within the team and in business units and member firms
- Develop effective cross-functional relationships in a multi-stakeholder environment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- 8-10 years within a strategic planning/corporate development function in a global organization
- Excellent strategic thinker, with 8+ years of demonstrated strategic consulting or related experience in strategy development and scenario planning
- Superior PowerPoint and Excel skills required, relational database experience (e. g., Access, Cognos, SAP) a plus
- Proven ability to deliver results, dive deep, invent and simplify
- Proven ability to implement and execute on defined payroll strategy
- Ability to work in a metrics driven organization
- Strong interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills
- High degree of self-confidence, poise, maturity, discretion, diplomacy and empathy
- Strong analytical skills to identify potential impact and implications of issues
- Solid organizational and project management skills
- Advanced attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive leadership information with utmost confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
