Duties: Create and drive programs to support retention strategies, career development, and mobility across the teams and firm. Ensure employees and managers receive counseling, guidance, and support on employee relations’ issues. Identify and propose solutions to organizational challenges while working alongside business managers to attract, manage, and retain talent. Execute on compensation plans including the full lifecycle of planning and administering compensation to the business. Partner with managers and provide advice on evaluating employee performance, in conjunction with determining appropriate levels of salary, incentive compensation, and total compensation during the year-end planning process. Drive comprehensive talent agenda including succession planning, as well as high potential and leadership development.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Human Resource Manager/Business Partner or related role.
Skills Required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills: regulatory and labor laws relating to employment law, local policies, and employee benefits; advising managers on recruiting, retaining, compensating, and employee development; using HR data to attract, manage, and retain employees; accessing and summarizing data with goal of improving business performance and increasing returns on investments; HR initiative project management such as acquiring or closing a business, driving a change management initiative, or introducing new HR products and services; and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint presentations and Excel functions. This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills: FCA regulatory requirements and licensing including identified staff in the UK; general employment laws in Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Japan; and working in the wealth management industry.
