Company is looking for an experienced marketing leader to to join the Global Marketing team and shape the music experience for millions of customers. The Head of Premium Marketing is a newly created position that will lead a high performing team to drive the development, communication, and execution of global marketing strategies for our Premium subscription business. This candidate must have a proven track record as an innovative thinker that has created successful multi platform customer acquisition campaigns. We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in strategy, communications planning and customer acquisition and retention. This position will report into the VP Global Marketing.
What you’ll do:
• In partnership with the Premium business team, this role will be responsible for leading a team that develops and executes innovative, target segment marketing strategies (inclusive of ATL, digital and direct) that accelerate the growth of new and engaged premium, Company customers
• Utilize a strategic understanding of consumer behavior to identify opportunities to acquire new subscribers, support the conversion of new customers, and grow engagement with existing premium customers
• Work with our internal creative team to develop a Premium Value Proposition and Brand Identity that can be translated into a compelling and differentiated communication platform
• Develop marketing programs with global platform partners that drive customer acquisition
• Lead a high performing cross functional team (creative, pr, analysts, social media) and work closely with in country teams, to develop plans that drive next best customer action, channel conversion and lifetime value
• Drive thinking on innovative new offers and Company Premium promotions.
• Test and scale campaigns based on clear business goals, and evidence of success.
• Management, training and development of direct reports
• Work closely with the Marketing Sciences team to identify research needs and ensure all campaigns are properly instrumented; Socialize team performance and strategy to company-wide stakeholders
• Requires 20-30% travel
Who you are:
• You have experience planning and executing integrated global marketing campaigns that includes off platform and owned media channels.
• You are creative storyteller who understands how to drive a brand through the creation of a compelling narrative
• Excellent strategic, analytical, creative and leadership skills
• You are entrepreneurial in outlook and be comfortable in a “startup” environment.
• You have a proven track record in supporting the growth of a division or smaller company and can turn your hands to many different tasks in the pursuit of accelerating growth.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills are essential for this highly collaborative position.
• Ability to formulate marketing strategies, strategically assess executional options, think creatively and provide detailed follow-through on campaigns
• Strong project management skills with the ability to mobilize and lead teams quickly and effectively.
• A highly organized detail conscious leader with the ability to manage timelines, large teams, executive management and budgets.
