Urban Decay is a seeking a Global Brand Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Newport Beach, CA.
Position Purpose
The Global Brand Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the stock equation (production plan and inventory) and to ensure the quality of the demand for Urban Decay. In addition, they will coordinate launches to optimized the service level and inventory.
Job Responsibilities
• Validate production plan parameter
• Responsible for a subset of brand activities
• Product availability and risk communication on new launches, on-going products and end of life to domestic and international customers
• WISE Monthly Planning cycle – challenge and ensure quality of demand and orders passed to plant and affiliates
• Backorder and Service cuts follow up with plant and customers
• Work with plant to reduce blocked horizon in order to increase reactivity
• Determine safety stock levels and validate with Supply Chain partner
• Challenge viability of new launches by review of Marketing Brief and the Logistics Launch Data sheet in order to avoid creation of excess
• Prevent excess for on-going products by monthly review of productions yielding excess and potential batch size reduction or discontinuation
• Minimize Obsoletes at time of restage (run-out analyses)
• ADI communication and approval with international customers and Marketing
• Leads international catalogue, challenges production that generates more than six months of coverage
• Master Data Maintenance in WISE
• Import planning cycle - calculate import orders and transmit to other MSL’s/factories
• Challenge Industrial Logistics action plan to ensure the optimization of service and inventory
• Allocate stock to countries when stock is low and coverage is low
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability
• Excellent understanding of Supply Chain, launch process, distribution network
• Create and interpret stock equation, forecast pyramid, excess calculations
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate root cause analysis
Qualifications Standards
Education/ Experience/ Licenses or Certificates
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain
• 2-3 years’ experience in a high performance manufacturing or supply chain organization
• Cosmetics industry preferred
Software
• SAP or equivalent experience
• Advanced Excel strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Standard Office applications
