GLAM Color Development Associate

As the GLAM Color Associate, you will be part of the Global Apparel Materials Color Development Team that is partnering with Category Teams and Color Design to execute their seasonal color direction. You will help support the Color Development team as they create design and develop tools and processes to support color execution for Nike Apparel. You will facilitate and track lab dips for seasonal initiatives by maintaining our color system of record. You will ensure on time development according to critical dates and gates. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with business teams involved in design, materials, product merchandising, product creation, material manufacturing and product integrity. Color should be your passion!
Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel/Textile design or a related field
In lieu of a degree, high school diploma, and a minimum of 3 additional years’ work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to pass the Munsell Hue color test to determine visual color acuity
Knowledge of apparel and material construction, including garment construction
Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
Strong information seeking-skills and a drive to make things happen
Ability to build positive working relationships
Self-starter attitude and the ability to be a team player within a fast-paced team
Strong computer skills and a proficiency with MS Excel and Adobe Illustrator
Experience with InDesign or Photoshop is a plus
