OVERVIEW:
This position is a great entry level opportunity to learn all aspects of digital marketing for a major fashion retail brand. This role will focus primarily on email marketing but there will be opportunities to contribute to mobile, app, lifecycle and triggered marketing initiatives. Responsible for executing daily email marketing campaigns for Company website, Free People UK, Free People China and Free People Wholesale. This includes setting up and testing campaigns prior to deployment and analyzing results of each send. Teamwork, schedule management and timely and effective communication as well as attention to detail are critical aspects of this position’s responsibilities. Positive attitude, passion for the Free People brand and curiosity about email and digital marketing are a must.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Execute QA, testing and deployment of e-mail campaigns for events, store openings and marketing blast emails.
• Execute and strategize basic email segmentation for marketing campaigns.
• Attend appropriate weekly meetings to understand business needs.
• Prepare email results for each marketing email. Collaborate with Analytics Team with reporting on email campaign results, highlighting successes, trends, and opportunities.
• Prepare weekly results and assist in analyzing trends.
• Prepare and analyze Subject Line and Creative testing results.
• Completion of campaign performance analysis and ad hoc projects as needed.
• Execute app, push, SMS and other marketing campaigns as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Effective time-management and project management skills
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in line with business objectives
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to understand marketing data, build reports, and summarize in meaningful way. Results oriented.
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Technically savvy and able to learn new concepts and software applications quickly.
• Team-player with excellent relationship-building skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent with a degree in marketing or business administration or related field.
• Knowledge of HTML a plus
• Knowledge of basic SQL a plus
• E-commerce experience and interest in fashion preferred
