The Foundations and Endowments (F&E) Senior Client Manager will have primary responsibility for cultivating and identifying prospective new or expanding not-for-profit institutional investment advisory relationships. This individual will work closely with F&E business development officers, investment advisors, other STI Teammates and COI's in identifying and cultivating Board Members/Investment Committee Members as well as Staff of prospective not-for-profit institutional organizations. This will be done through cultivation activities to include sharing Thought Leadership materials and other best thinking via webinars, seminars and conferences. The Senior Client Manager will be a member of the deal team in the preparation of RFP responses and participation in finals presentations. In addition, this position will be part of and internally supported by a client relationship team. This client relationship team will be responsible for delivering high level client service and administration of Trust and investment advisory/administrative solutions for larger, key not-for-profit institutional relationships in a consultative manner. This will include the fiduciary and risk/compliance oversight of all not-for-profit client relationships within their assigned book of business.
Bachelor’s degree. Positive “can do” attitude and ability to work well within a Team environment in cultivating and serving FESP prospects and clients. Needs to have strong people skills with the ability to identify, educate and cultivate prospective and existing clients. Also must possess high level problem solving skills and a have keen sense of and attention to detail. Required: A minimum of 10 years + of demonstrated success in client management and developing new relationships working with trust, investment advisory and/or related not-for-profit experience.
Preferred: Undergraduate degree in economics, business, finance, accounting or other business related field. In addition, should have one or more professional designations, i.e. - CTFA, CFP.
