Facilities Coordinator
Business Unit Summary
Be a part of the dynamic Union Center Facilities team within our West Chester, OH facility. Overall responsibility of the Facilities Coordinator is to ensure that all Cornerstone buildings and grounds are maintained in first-rate condition with emphasis on providing an appealing, professional and productive workplace
A Day in the Life
• Monitor third party housekeeping and grounds keeping providers for all Ohio facilities (UC/JD/TP/FF/MO) to ensure established service schedules and standards are met. Perform routine inspections and coordinate any necessary resolution with the service provider.
• Coordinate repairs and services as needed to ensure facilities are maintained to world class standards. Work should be scheduled in a manner that eliminates or minimizes negative impact to the normal working environment (i.e. may require work to be 2nd or 3rd shift, weekend work, etc.); Examples include window washing, window repair, pavement/curb repair, floor tile repair, duct cleaning, carpet cleaning, painting, landscape maintenance, signage, lamp replacement, etc.
• Follow all company safety policies and ensure all Cornerstone associates, contractors and 3rd party service providers follow company policies and use safe work methods.
• Monitor the Facilities Help Desk e-mail for building services requests and ensure timely completion.
• Solicit quotes for materials and services as needed.
• Obtain management approval as appropriate for expenses relating to purchasing materials and services

Must Haves
• Must be detail driven with emphasis on presentation and appearance, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Experience in a similar customer service related field is desired.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be a self starter and work well independently while also fostering teamwork through communication, professional behavior and respect for co-workers.
• Must have excellent organizational skills with ability to follow through and execute action items.
• Knowledge/experience in building maintenance functions including drywall repair, painting, carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, floor tile, etc. Experience assembling and reconfiguring office cubicle systems is a plus.
• Prefer previous knowledge/experience in accurately maintaining sufficient inventories of parts and supplies.
• Knowledge/experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with multiple levels of the organization including executive levels.
• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
• Ability to perform inspections and troubleshoot problems in all areas of the buildings and grounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as may be needed to eliminate or minimize negative impact to the normal working environment. Ability to meet “on-call” responsibilities on occasion.
• Ability to use scissor lifts/ aerial lifts at heights up to 40 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in environments with wide variations in temperature and weather conditions.
• Must be PIT certified or have ability to become PIT certified.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass the company background check required to operate company vehicles.
• Must also be able to use personal vehicle as needed to travel between sites. Mileage will be reimbursed per company policy and procedure.
