Executive Director, Education North America, La Mer
Principal Objectives:
Oversee Lamer’s N.A. education team to support our strategic high touch plan and brand building initiatives. Work with the global education team to create and provide support for new programs and consumer experiences. Provide the appropriate education materials to differentiated retail channels and selling environments. Communicate and implement these high touch initiatives through educational programs to all retail personnel. Provide incremental education plan and programs for Top Markets/Travel Corridors.
This position requires capabilities as a “spokesperson” for regional press and in-store events in top doors.
Accountabilities:
• Adapts the global La Mer training programs and materials for the NA markets.
• Coaches and develops our Education Executives team utilizing our “high-touch leadership” model.
• Monitors delivery of programs by the Ed Exec to ensure programs standards are consistent with brand philosophy.
• Delivers our education strategy to all retail partners.
• Develops and oversees special events and event training.
• Collaborates with NA Marketing on the development of event programs and consumer collateral requirements.
• Assists in the preparation and execution of the N.A. Sales meeting.
• Assists in the prep and execution of other business meetings as required.
• Develops and manages the La Mer education budgets.
• Manages the Expense Reports of the Education Executives.
• Travel up to 35 % in the U.S. and Canada.
Qualifications:
• Position requires 10+ years in luxury beauty industry or related experience.
• Superior organizational skills required.
• Ability to drive, develop and lead education projects and programs.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation ability.
• Advanced computer skills: Power-point/ Excel
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced multi-dimensional environment.
• Strong interpersonal and team building acumen.
