The Application Developer creates detailed technical specifications, develops application and system code, participates in code reviews and module testing, and supports ongoing maintenance.
The Application Developer Technician provides code/design analysis and strategy, supports project planning, and develops code and designs for complex projects. The Technician Application Developer manages the review of code, design, and testing for Band B and C Application Developers and peers. The Technician Application Developer serves as a technical expert and coaches and mentors Application developer specialists and professionals.

The Encompass Information Delivery team supports the design, build, maintenance, quality, and expansion of the EDW (Encompass data warehouse) . Being a financial warehouse the data availability and quality are very critical to the downstream processing.
We are looking for the Application Developer lead consultant to play an integral role in every step of the process, and to provide thought-leadership in the areas of design, data modeling, and ETL development best practices.
The Application Developer manages the review of code, design, and testing for junior Developers and peers. The Application Developer lead consultant serves as a technical expert and coaches and mentors Application developer specialists and professionals.
Associates or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS and/or equivalent work experience
Minimum 10 years of software development experience .
5 -7 years of strong Informatica development experience.
Strong data warehouse experience
Minimum of 3 years of PL SQL experience.
Strong working knowledge in SQL
Experience moving data to/from Oracle and other non-relational sources/targets
Unix experience, handling file transfers and basic processing with the ETL tool.
Hands-on skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting data integration solutions
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Insurance experience or specific industry designation preferred
Experience with Informatica admin tools is a plus.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
