Responsibilities
As part of the Projects & Integration Team, the Engineering Project Specialist is a key member of the team responsible for integration engineering, project logistics, and asset management. The coordinator supports multiple project stakeholders including project managers, (PM), project engineers, engineering management, and operations.
Responsibilities:
• Review all equipment order forms
• Make operational recommendations on which equipment is optimal for meeting project needs
• Liaise with vendors to ensure operational needs are met by equipment procured
• Conduct engineering design for broadcast technology infrastructure
• Work with Operations to ensure project timelines are met, and project priorities and dependencies are clearly defined
• Interface on a technical level with commissioning engineers to close out projects
• Manage existing documentation, ensuring changes to systems are correctly documented over time
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years Engineering experience in a broadcast environment
• 3+ years experience working with autocad

Desired Characteristics
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
• Basic scripting/programming skills
• Wide understanding of Broadcast Television technologies from Studio & Post Production to Master Control & Distribution.
• Experience with virtualization software and hardware.
•Familiarity with video encode/decode process, and understanding of format differences.
• Strong attention to detail and appreciation for accurate documentation.
• Proven understanding of baseband video signal flow, standards, and common video infrastructure.
• Good understanding of IP infrastructure and topology.
• Self-motivated independent worker who performs well in a collaborative environment.
• Positive and professional attitude
• Strong written and verbal communications and reporting skills
• Experience in building/maintaining a variety of file storage systems, as well as archive solutions.
• Ability to handle a multi-project work environment and manage time accordingly.
