Job Title – Encore! Finance – Financial Control
Location – Whippany NJ
Encore!, one of Barclays’ flagship diversity and citizenship programs, is designed for individuals who have taken a career break and now wish to re-enter the workforce. The program provides leadership and development training as well as a paid 12-week fellowship in our New York based offices beginning in January 2020. Qualified candidates with strong performance are eligible to be considered for full-time roles based on availability and suitability.

The primary function of Financial Control is to ensure that Barclays fulfills its external financial reporting requirements, including statutory accounts, capital adequacy reporting, large exposures reporting and statistical reporting.
What will you be doing?
Finance is seeking highly qualified candidates who have a strong desire to return to the workforce and have prior experience in financial controls, financial reporting, or accounting. Interested candidates will be considered for multiple opportunities across Finance and be given further information on specific roles before interviews. What we’re looking for:
· BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of relevant work experience
Skills that will help you in the role:
· Public accounting audit experience
· Financial product knowledge
