Company Adult Family Home Complaint Investigator
The Aging and Long Term Support Administration with Company has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team as an Adult Family Home Complaint Investigator. Every day will bring new and exciting opportunities, as you travel throughout the region in North King and South Snohomish counties conducting complaint investigations for adult family homes ensuring that community-based care is appropriate and supports stability.
Some of what you'll do
Conduct adult family home complaint investigations
Provide quality oversight that licensing requirements are being met
Observe resident services and care, within the physical environment in which the services are provided
Conduct interviews with residents, family members, and other community representatives to obtain information regarding the care and services provided
Obtain information regarding residents care and services from medical records, facility staff, and other sources
Evaluate care within parameters of state regulations
What we're looking for
Nurses with an investigative mind, ability to work in a team environment, learn new things daily, provide, and receive mentoring.
Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, clients, and public.
Knowledge of principles and practices of institutional nursing services, public health, and professional nursing fields.
Strength in writing and documentation.
Proven analytical and investigative skills.
Behavioral health nursing experience preferred.
Who should apply
A valid Washington State License to practice as a Registered Nurse or ability to obtain WA license prior to starting date AND Five years of experience as an RN in a long term care setting
Bachelor of Science in Nursing AND three years of experience as an RN in a long term care setting
Master of Nursing/Master of Science in Nursing AND two years as an RN experience in a long term care setting
