Director, Trade Marketing, Company & AERIN North America
Leads the Trade Marketing team responsible for all cross-functional processes & programs with retail partners for go to market success. Works in close partnership with Account Leads and Product and Consumer Marketing to ensure seamless execution of all planned market & retailer activities.
Astute business manager with a superb track record of executional excellence, process simplification, attention to detail, strong relationship building skills, and an understanding of marketing programs, that gets the job done.
Owns, maintains and optimizes cross-functional retail programs ensuring flawless execution at point of sale
Owns and leads all cross-functional systems, programs and databases, such as Passport, Teamworks, sampling, marketing grids, master doors list and others, responsible for:
◦ Forecasting and managing all non-sellables (i.e. samples, customer loyalty programs).
◦ Overseeing allocation process and timings
◦ Ensuring accurate data maintenance and timely communication to both internal and external stakeholders
◦ Leading simplification and optimization efforts for more efficient and impactful program delivery
Retail Account Operations
Partners with Account Leads and the Marketing teams to support the Brand’s strategies at launch, seasonal and new door openings.
Supports the seasonal retailer Planning Meetings, coordinating seasonal information within presentations, identifying and capitalizing on potential synergies and setting up the meeting venue & logistics.
Identifies and leads the creation of tools to maximize the performance of the field personnel, including supporting grassroots events to attract key consumer segments (e.g., multi-ethnic).
Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Measures marketing program effectiveness via regular monitoring of KPI's and shares this knowledge with brand team
Exhibits strong understanding of all drivers of business performance to consistently help optimize execution
Guides and coaches direct reports to enable their autonomy, growth & development
Role models project management, operational execution and strategic thinking while holding team members accountable in partnership with account leads
8+ years marketing related experience
College Degree with focus on Marketing
Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as a high-degree of internal and external collaboration capabilities
Strong project & process management skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for speed and efficiency, while maintaining attention to detail and flawless follow-through
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, natural dot-connector
Able to identify, prioritize and adjust according to dynamic business needs
Able to think strategically to conceptualize and implement new ideas for retail success
Prestige beauty and department store or specialty-multi channel (SMC) experience preferred
Initiates change, employs strategic thinking, adept persuasion, and demonstrates resilience
