Director, Specialty - Global Marketing, Tom Ford Beauty
Works with the Vice President in leading and driving the development and execution of Global gifting and limited editions across all categories, from inception to market. Also, leads team in core global marketing cross-category projects and processes such as cross category calendars and cross category COGS.
Lead the development of an innovative and aspirational Global gifting program across all categories with strong storytelling leveraging Tom Ford’s DNA to win during key holiday periods, while recruiting new consumers and protecting our loyal consumers.
Develop relevant mixes and partner with regions to address key needs while maximizing productivity:
◦ APAC, including exclusive offers for TMall
◦ NA for key Seasonal moment
Partner with relevant Global Marketing category teams to ensure promotional strategy aligns with brand category goals.
Responsible for timeliness of all briefs: concepts, programs briefs. Articulate story telling overarching theme, business opportunity and COGS.
Necessary cost analysis throughout program development to ensure financial targets are met. Collaborate with Strategic finance group to ensure accurate cost targets.
Partner with creative new product package requirements and work with Packaging and Design on development. Approve all artwork.
Partner with Consumer team to create 360 activations. Have a digital first mindset in creation of all programs and campaign planning. Have complete knowledge in social media and be an active user in order to have an understanding of what is needed to win. Drive Creative 360 meetings to collaborate with Creative and Consumer Engagement teams to identify digital first, consumer engagement strategy for all digital/Social, in-store and support elements for assigned programs to ensure there is a NEW story each season with a cohesive message at all consumer touchpoints. Solicit feedback on current initiatives and research new opportunities to evolve strategies.
Responsibilities to include program development, performance evaluation and recommendations to drive sales and maximize program effectiveness.
Analyze brand performance versus competition to identify needs, gaps and opportunities; maintain on-going contact with regions to keep abreast of program effectiveness and evolve strategies as needed. Manage COGs expectations and review sell through.
Understand competitive environment in TR, NOAM, EMEA, APAC, TMALL. Conduct ongoing competitive reviews with regions to identify best practices.
Direct development of global program offerings and evaluate forecasts to ensure brand business plan is met.
Collaborate with VP and category marketing Leads during strategy presentations, developing thorough analysis in regards to the promotional business, including department rollups of forecasts and net sales.
Lead internal strategic and development discussions and present programs to senior management for approvals.
Maintain a library of program performance complete with gift results, feedback on gift, collateral and support (including competitive successes).
Approve all packaging artwork for assigned programs.
Chair regular Packaging/Design/GBSC meetings to guide the development process.
CORE GLOBAL MARKETING CROSS CATEGORY PROJECTS:
Responsible for calendar alignment and issuance on a monthly basis. Partner with category teams, PD and GBSC to identify calendar updates and ensure calendar is always accurate. Calendar includes ship dates, OCD, dollars value for each program, detail of each program, and regional exclusives.

Responsible for side by sides
Lead line edits for all categories
Undergraduate College degree; MBA preferred.
Position requires 8-10 years relevant work experience.
Able to work with larger Marketing team and cross-functional team to set appropriate goals; evaluates and organizes work assignments to maximize/enhance staff contribution and development.
Strong mix of strategic sense and analytical skills. Financial acumen and budgeting experience required.
Position requires strong organization and leadership skills and project management skills.
Excellent written and oral communications, excellent presentation skills, ability to personally organize and set priorities and to drive other people.
Must be able to establish priorities and processes effectively.
Effective negotiation skills with ability to gain cooperation at all levels, internally and externally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
