Description
Company is looking for a Director of SEO to join the Audience Development team in our Jersey City, NJ, office. The position, reporting into the VP of Audience Development, will work across the company with various stakeholders with the goal to improve discover-ability on search engines. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an SEO strategy that continues to maintain Company as one of the most competitive brand on Google, Bing and Yahoo.
- Collaborate with other in-house SEO experts to drive all related efforts
- Work with various stakeholders to implement SEO best practices
- Proactively work with Editorial to provide insights into various search opportunities
- Regularly lead SEO audits to inform product and dev about site’s technical health
- Be the go to resources for latest SEO trends and algorithm shifts
- Provide regular reporting for related KPIs
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience managing paid social campaigns
- Working knowledge of SEO industry tools for onsite and offsite analysis
- Strong grasp of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Strong communication, organizational and collaboration skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Team player with all-hands-on-deck attitude and an entrepreneurial mind-set
- Bachelor's Degree required
