Description

Company Finance employees play a key role in that progress by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive value for every Company shareholder. They manage accounting and reporting for Company’s multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Company’s diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers
Role & Responsibility:
• Reports to CFO Greater China based in Shanghai, and dotted line to Territory GM of Hong Kong.
• Responsible for the overall management of the territory's monetary affairs in Hong Kong
• Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments.
• Determines progress against strategic plan, budget, and forecast.
• Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make recommendations to management.
• Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance and other areas of business.
• Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning.
• Manages team and sets team and individual goals that align with department and function goals.
• Coaches staff, creates opportunities for staff development, makes hiring decisions, drives performance management, recognition and rewards.
• Develops team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance.
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate should have 12 or more years of business experience, including direct, relevant experience in a combination of one or more of the following areas:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s Degree preferred).
• At least 12 years of experience in financial management is required with a Fortune 500 company with multinational operations.
• Other direct experience in other business areas such as Business Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, Commercial Business, etc.
• Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance, and provide appropriate direction to other internal audit project team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management.
• Exhibit the leadership skills needed to sell ideas and obtain management buy-in for constructive change.
• Understanding of the technical aspects of accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in performing multiple projects and working with varying team members
• CPA a plus but not a must.
