The Director of Diversity and Military Workforce Programs will lead the enterprise diversity and military workforce efforts. This role thrives on fostering connections between individuals, teams and partners who are passionate about supporting and driving the diversity and military workforce strategy. The Director of Diversity and Military Workforce Programs role will focus on building our organizational capability, skills, programs, brand and identifying sourcing channels, outreach and partnership opportunities to fulfill our mission. This role is a part of Company Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity Center of Excellence and report to the Sr. Director of Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity.
Consulting Agility: Engages with a diverse array of people, teams and partners to make connections and align around desired outcomes. Serves as a primary consultant for established Human Capital and business teams focused on diversity and military workforce as well as emerging groups and teams seeking to develop diversity and military workforce strategies and programs. Ensures compliance with federal regulations and assisting with audits. Formulates and executes innovative and customized US enterprise-wide and business-specific workforce strategies for particular diverse and military segments. This individual will develop and have ownership of the external personal partnership strategy. Serves as a SME to our Culture, Inclusion and Diversity business councils to help them develop and achieve their workforce plans and aspirations
Organizational Agility: Understands how the business operates and can identify and interpret levers of impact. Creates experiences that grow the organizations’ capabilities focused on diversity and military workforce. In partnership with Talent Acquisition, generates demand for roles and develops supply and pipeline of top talent. Responsible for developing measures of success and business impact for the organization. Ensures hiring practices are unbiased and equitable
Visionary Leadership: Contributes to the successful advancement of principles related to the diversity and military workforce strategy. Responsible for being a champion of our diversity and military workforce strategy, cultivating innovation, being resilient, and inspiring others
Emerging Capabilities: Understands how to design solutions to create the most simple, yet most meaningful, experience. Responsible for keeping up to date on current diversity and military workforce trends and developments. Partners with vendors and subject matter experts to develop training and transference of competence capabilities. Identify and monitor external diversity best practices and benchmarks that help guide our investments and make recommendations for new initiatives to ensure that Company is a leader in the diversity and military workforce space
Engagement: Connects with our internal communities to ensure engagement, get insights, feedback and involvement. Partners across the COE for critical alignment and maximum impact in culture, inclusion & diversity as social responsibility. Identifies and seeks opportunities to celebrate and communicate engagement successes. Build relationships with internal diversity leaders/stakeholders, diversity professionals at peer and other companies, leaders of diversity organizations and diversity professionals in the community. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and partnering with local and national organizations. Represents Company at inclusion and diversity events, meeting and activities

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in diversity and inclusion, Human Resources, recruiting and/or other relevant business experience
8+ years of experience interfacing with Senior Leadership team
Proven track record of effectively managing conflict, resolving issues, mitigating risks and influencing leaders
8+ years of demonstrated leadership involvement, passion and commitment for Diversity & Inclusion
8+ years of experience developing and delivering execution of broad scale human capital, inclusion and diversity and/or other relevant business strategies
Must be based in Minnesota office
Experience with the Talent Acquisition, talent development and/or talent management processes and workflows and/or has partnered with those areas and business partners to build a diverse workforce
Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Excellent communication skills – verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation along with written message development
Experience working with and influencing all levels of employees; inspiring others to engage, participate and act
Experience working in a matrix environment
Strong project management skills
Experience with building programs to scale
