The physical requirements of this position include occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 lbs.; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing). Company HealthCare (UKHC) Information Technology Services has posted the Director of Enterprise Architecture role. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to define current architectures, future architectures, and the transition architectures for all projects; lead strategic enterprise planning to achieve goals by prioritizing enterprise initiatives and coordinating the architectural evaluation, design and deployment of current and future IT solutions; provide management and leadership oversight of associates assigned to IT Governance projects to ensure achievement of established project milestones; ensure that the business and IT are in alignment; serve as a subject matter expert for architectural frameworks, methods, design patterns, and tools; and work with stakeholders, leadership, and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization’s strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. Additionally, this position will collaborate to define business requirements for complex systems development and gain buy-in for infrastructure plans; provide integration and architectural consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to all of UKHC.

Successful experience in a similar position within a large academic medical center/enterprise. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; Master’s degree preferred.
