Director- CDO- Data Management Quality Program Lead
Specific duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Partner in setting strategic direction and prioritization of Corporate CDE / CDE initiatives, working and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary group of CDO, business and technology teams
• Lead strategic discussions and requirement gathering sessions, reaching consensus and recommended solutions on system development projects, enhancements, and issue resolution activities
Coordinating and planning work activities, meetings and other tasks that demonstrate leadership with measurable results
Partner with Citi’s network of Data Management stakeholders across the businesses and functions for CDE and Data Quality Control data governance and data quality topics
Work in partnership with CDE Data Quality Operation lead in implementing a sustainable CDE program that adheres to Citi Data Management Policy (CDMP) across Citi in an efficient and effective manner
Provide subject matter expertise on industry best practices across Citi
Research, and implement industry practice standards
Support CDO’s CDE related regulatory interactions and deliverables
Monitor and drive Corporate and Regulatory commitments to timely completion
Manage dependencies across related programs and initiatives
Act as a change agent and collaborator, partnering with Businesses, Global Functions, and the CDO team to establish enterprise wide CDE/Corporate CDE quality program
Bachelor’s/University degree in a Business, Finance or IT discipline or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred .
12+ years of practical operational management and/or business management experience preferred
Consulting or Project/Program Delivery experience in the financial services industry.
Track record of developing Enterprise level data strategies and scalable process designs consistent with industry practices.
Exemplary written and oral communication skills required, ability to synthesize key messages and “storytell”. Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management preferred.
Ability to see the "big picture" without losing attention to detail.
Good influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to "roll up sleeves".
Need for ‘intellectual curiosity’, critical thinking skills and ability to challenge ‘group think’.
Process reengineering and process mapping experience preferred, along with a proven track record of successfully leading large, complex and transformative projects.
The candidate must be able to work with teams as well as independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This role requires multi-tasking, organization and the ability to quickly acquire and comprehend the required knowledge.
