DESCRIPTION:
Working within Company Radio's new in-house traffic content and sales operation team, you will be overseeing ad operations for the sponsorship sales within and around the local traffic reports airing across our properties in 26 markets. You will ensure efficient and effective execution of all Advertising Operations, including Inventory Management, Affidavit and Invoice Processing, Compliance Management, and Traffic for Company Radio Short duration units.
Planning: Work with national and local sales staff to build proposals and submit upon avail requests.
Traffic (commercial scheduling): Ensure accurate traffic instructions to all stations; build and strengthen relationships with stations; track issues and problems and work in tandem with team to overcome issues.
Inventory Management: track inventory levels by station; routinely communicate with stations to ensure schedule is running as ordered and all inventory changes are captured immediately; document all processes; develop and implement reporting to provide accurate and timely visibility into inventory operations.
Affidavit processing: Receive and record all station affidavits. Work with Company Finance to verify and process national and regional billing on a monthly basis
Compliance management: Build and distribute regular reports which analyze station clearance percentage. Present recommended solutions for poor performers.
As part of the Management Team, you will participate in strategy development, budgeting and planning, assessment of results, and creation of appropriate action plans for the business
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Expertise in leading or working within broadcast traffic or advertising insertion and fulfillment
• Leading an operations function, ideally during a period of high growth or turnaround
• Experience developing and redesigning processes and reporting
• Operational analysis
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and parallel many competing priorities
• Cross functional team leadership and participation, hands on approach
• Project management
• Business insight and judgment with exceptional follow through
• Media experience a plus
• Proactive communicator regarding obstacles and progress, collaborator and problem solver
