Digital Workspace Solution, Product Marketing Director
Company is the leader in cloud infrastructure, business mobility and virtualization software and empowers customers with solutions in the software-defined data center to hybrid cloud computing and the mobile workspace. The Solutions Product Marketing team’s mission is to develop and market integrated solutions across the Company portfolio. Company’s Solutions Product Marketing team is responsible for developing integrating marketing content, plans and programs to drive the adoption of Company’s solutions across targeted IT executive and practitioner audiences.
The Digital Workspace Solution Leader will lead a team that is responsible for all marketing related activities for the Company’s End User Computing solutions. We view Solutions marketing managers as business owners who have a clear understanding of their markets and buyers, know the key drivers of their business, and take responsibility for the overall success of the solution in the marketplace. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced marketing leader with expertise in solution- and corporate-level positioning & messaging as well as a wide range of executive and content marketing programs. This role requires deep product domain knowledge across Company’s end user computing product portfolios, and close collaboration with our product development organization and BU product marketing counterparts.
You can expect to perform tasks such as these:
Collaborate with a team of product marketers to develop succinct and compelling positioning, messaging and value propositions as part of integrated marketing plans in support of Company’s end user computing solutions.
Partner closely with senior leadership, marketing and sales leadership to understand conceptual ideas, product innovations, competitive positioning, and translate such into compelling marketing content and assets (demand generation assets, presentations, case studies, videos, etc)
Develop compelling, high performing campaign content aligned with positioning and messaging that resonate with customers, communicating product features / capabilities in terms and categories that customers understand.
Know the customer. and be able to evangelize how our products have been successful in different customer scenarios
Understand competitive landscape in service to creating differentiated assets, bring best in class content marketing ideas to the integrated marketing team. .
Track content performance across multiple channels
10~15 years of experience in product and solutions marketing
Strong content creation and integrated marketing experience
Strong understanding of digital workspace trends and Company’s end user computing products is a requirement.
Strategic and analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts and articulate uniquely differentiated value propositions to both technical and business audiences
Strong analytical, leadership, and partnering skills. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of marketing, business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality in an emerging or established market and across Company solutions where needed
Critical thinker with ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Be a good storyteller. Have the ability to communicate that story verbally and in writing. Be able to translate geeky-widget-speak into business benefits
10+ years of experience doing awesome things in the technology space.
