Summary of Position:
The Digital Marketing Specialist role is to design, create, and deliver digital marketing programs to support growth of company products and services. Through in-depth analytics and working with cross-functional teams and external resources, the Digital Marketing Specialist will develop and execute programs to increase website traffic, leads, and revenue. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, flexible, with strong problem-solving skills, and has solid experience working with web-based applications to develop, maintain, and grow our online brand equity.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Manage Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to optimize all websites for continual improvement of organic search visibility and traffic.
Manage website CMS content to ensure a first-class customer experience while supporting McCrometer’s strategies and business priorities.
Plan, manage, and report A/B testing for improved conversions of landing pages and emails.
Create, manage, and execute e-mail campaigns using Marketing Automation and HTML editors.
Assist in drafting creative and contextual communication for outbound and inbound marketing activities.
Optimize lead nurturing and marketing automation processes.
Report & analyze on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist in planning, developing, and executing domestic and international search programs and campaigns, including online and 3rd party advertising, social media, and mobile marketing.
Create content using compelling copywriting and storytelling to attract, engage, and convert throughout the customer journey.
Develops a deep understanding of McCrometer products and industries, and engage with Product Management, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Inside Sales and Technical Support to ensure digital and marketing content is clear, concise, and relevant.
Working with Product Managers and developers, create mobile apps, engaging videos, digital tools, and product configurators to support internal and external customers for use on the intranet, internet, social media and campaigns.
Other Responsibilities and Functions
Support in executing occasional internal company communications and campaigns.
Make data-driven recommendations around marketing spend relating to omni-channel campaigns.
Assist with product launches and perform other relevant responsibilities as assigned.
Engage with Company platforms and other operating companies to coordinate digital development efforts.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or PR required: Digital Marketing emphasis preferred.
2 - 3 years digital marketing experience required.
Knowledge of email marketing, SEM, HTML.
Knowledge of marketing systems including CMS, Marketo, CRM/SFDC, Google Analytics.
Experience working in WordPress backend for content editing.
Skills and Competencies:
Develop and manage marketing programs that are held to specific KPI and ROAS goals.
Understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices, and stay abreast of emerging trends in the digital ecosystem.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a sense of urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management skills needed to manage translations, campaigns, product launches, and other marketing projects with tight deadlines.
Manage experiments of digital collateral to gain insight into customer buying process and needs.
Ability to present complex or difficult messages clearly and persuasively.
Technical and analytical thinking to break issues down into small, easily analyzable portions, and apply logical thinking to solve it. Should be capable of quickly acquiring technical knowledge and skills as needed for the job and daily management.
Reliable and accepts ownership over the quality of work, taking initiative to continually improve.
Collaborate with diverse team members; sharing insights and being open to learning from others.
Highly proficient with PC, Microsoft Office Suite required. Extensive capability in use of computers and common business productivity tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases, project scheduling tools, etc.
Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver a must.
