Experienced digital marketer sought to own the end to end digital marketing strategy for driving new customer account creation and activation through the Free Tier offerings for Company Web Services (AWS) Customer Acquisition team.
The Free Tier Marketing Manager drives growth with conversion optimized content and multi-channel campaigns that attract customers and build excitement through delightful user journeys that enable customer success. This will include project management, creative problem solving, creating ad and webpage content, quantifying the impact of campaigns, using data to uncover customer insights, and so much more.
Ideal candidates are passionate about learning, testing, executing, and driving growth through multi-channel digital marketing. The role will collaborate with many functional teams in AWS: product marketing, business intelligence, customer research, etc. You will also partner closely with our field marketing teams across various regions (EMEA, APAC, AMERICAS, JAPAN) to build digital tactics that scale in specific regions. Externally, you partner with our media agencies to deliver effective media plans that scale & also work with creative agencies to build world class assets that convey our story to our customers effectively.
Customer obsession, creativity, and comfort testing different experiences at scale are essential to success in this role.
This position must sit in Seattle, WA. Relocation from within the U.S. offered.
Understand and utilize the product messaging to write, review, and continuously improve copy materials for webpages, ads, emails, etc.
Grow AWS account creation by driving awareness and demand through conversion optimized content and multi-channel digital campaigns
Create, manage, and publish content on the AWS website utilizing the content management system
Setup and perform A/B Tests to optimize customer experience
Analyze and report on performance metrics of digital campaigns and set up test plans to improve the campaign performance
Compile learning and share best practices across teams to help achieve the most effectiveness
Collaborate across multiple teams to identify and accomplish goals
Strong execution capability with highest standards in a rapidly evolving business
Strong oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
Travel: Up to 10%, including internationally
3+ years’ experience with analytical tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.) and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
3+ years’ experience in building, executing, and meeting/exceeding business goals via digital promotional campaigns: e.g. email, web banner, social media, web page
2+ years of professional experience as a project/program manager
2+ years’ experience creating webpages via a content management system
Prior A/B Testing Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, computer science, or any field of study or an additional 4+ years’ relevant professional experience
Proficiency web management tools: Adobe CQ, Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Tableau
Experience in Tech product marketing is a plus
Experience in setting up automated marketing experience
