Company Go is a new kind of store with no lines and no checkout. Customers use the Company Go app to enter the store, and take what they want from our selection of delicious meals and snacks. It’s all a part of Just Walk Out Shopping, which automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. Designed and custom-built by Amazonians, it relies on a variety of revolutionary, new technologies like computer vision, sensor fusion, and advanced machine learning. Innovation is part of our DNA! Who You Are
You are a hands-on, versatile graphic designer who turns business goals and creative vision into world-class designs and engaging conceptual solutions. You're driven to design brand stories that connect with customers across a variety of channels and take delight in building new brands from the ground up. You are both imaginative and pragmatic. You have an inventor’s spirit, a beautifully-tuned eye, demonstrated proficiency in brand design, and proven experience moving projects from concept to successful execution.
You are sensitive to the way a retail brand unfolds across design mediums, including both print and digital.
You are scrappy, agile, and full of initiative. You regularly push your comfort zone to stretch and improve yourself and the work.
You are highly collaborative, with a proven track record for working within a diverse team to bring its ideas to life.
Lead high-fidelity executions and style guide development for Company Go marketing initiatives, including multi-channel campaigns, in-store signage systems, digital signage and deliverables in both digital and print channels.
Work with creative leaders, to develop and push design concepts, gather information, discuss alternatives, and review design specifications.
Fluency in moving from understanding and interpreting strategy to developing initial concepts.
Create new style conventions that unify the brand across all mediums.
Present and defend your own work and that of your team to peers, stakeholders, and creative leadership.
Design digital deliverables that include content for landing pages, banners, email templates, digital signage and social content.
Oversee routine and complex duties in the preparation of printing specifications, working with vendors to verify print specifications. Prepare design layouts, specifications and die-lines/mechanicals for print.
Understand and respond to performance data (metric tests, usability studies), and steer the direction of future creative designs.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in design/retail/advertising/marketing
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating visual branding, marketing/campaign design, and great user-centered design solutions
Strong time-management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
Must be comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage priorities well
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to gracefully defend your design decisions
Ability to think spatially, understanding how a brand is consistently expressed and maintained in a physical and digital environment
Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and related design and production software
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Design, Advertising, or related fields preferred
