Further growth of our critical global InfoSec and Data Protection function means that we now require an additional talented CyberSecurity Analystfor a new role within the Company InfoSec Risk & Vulnerability Management team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Risk and Vulnerability Management, the successful candidate will be focused on leveraging analytic and technical skills to discover cyber risks; prioritize assets, assess risks and remediation/mitigation techniques; report on risks, and drive and track the remediation, mitigation and acceptance of risk to tackle cyber business problems.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable with cloud and non-cloud computing environments and should have a balanced security and technology background with strong system, network, and application security skills. The successful candidate will assess vulnerabilities, collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure the prompt and effective distribution of findings so that risk and incidents are addressed in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
This is an on-call position and can require working nights weekends and holidays.
Assess new vulnerabilities, investigate solutions and recommend compensating controls to minimize risk to the organization that could arise.
Review and validate vulnerability findings, utilizing tools to gather scope and breadth of issue in the Company environment.
Advise technical and non-technical stakeholders on appropriate prioritization of remediation/mitigation solutions
Verify vulnerability remediation/mitigation through re-test & closure and focus on systemic issues.
Responsible for 3rd Party Supplier assessments, Internal security assessments, software reviews, and respond to other security issues as required.
Enhance and update internal operational processes as needed to ensure operational excellence
Report, track, and disposition remediation/mitigation/risk acceptance activities
Drive maturity in the vulnerability management area and security in general across the business, through remediation for systemic issues and positive engagement.
Support compliance and due diligence activities related to audits regulatory requirements
Experience analyzing scans/reports from security scanning tools and other internal security tools related to risks and vulnerabilities at network and application level.
Experience of assessing configuration risk and vulnerability in the cloud (AWS/Azure) and an awareness of automation
Knowledge of different compliance frameworks e.g. SOX, GDPR, PCI, HIPAA
Possesses a keen interest for continuous improvement and making workflow and processes more efficient and automated.
Possesses detailed understanding of various operating systems and common applications as they relate to vulnerabilities
Possesses an understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure, agile application development & maintenance, software testing, and IT architecture
Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task.
Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Effective written, oral communication skills.
