The Data Protection Specialist within Cyber Security will be responsible for assisting with the following ongoing efforts and projects.
Primary responsibilities include:
Working with business lines to protect sensitive information
Leveraging a variety of security tools to reduce the chance of data loss (DLP, data classification, CASB)
Preparing and reporting data security metrics and KRIs
Building and maintaining strong relationships with business lines in order to identify information security issues and drive policy compliance
Collaborating with other teams throughout the organization to identify sensitive information and protect it at rest and in motion
Assisting in the maturation of an enterprise data classification and digital rights management program
1-3 years of hands-on technical experience with relevant IT and security tools
Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory or Azure Active Directory
Experience with some of the following security tools a plus: Symantec DLP, Endpoint security tool suites, Azure Information Protection, CASB security tools, Office 365 security tools
Ability to articulate technical risk issues in business terms.
Demonstrated ability to track, manage, and drive to closure issues as they arise
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with project teams and multiple departments and vendors to achieve project objectives.
Strong capability and experience with meeting project timelines.
Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy.
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required
Relevant Information Security or technical qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) preferred

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
