We’re looking for a Cyber Security Data Product Manager who wants to have a huge impact on the foundation of our cyber security data products; someone who is excited to help take our data-driven strategy to the next level.
This role is a true hybrid. Your stakeholders will be engineers, data scientists, analysts, and all of our end users.
Elicit and unearth unmet customer needs through research, data analysis, user experience analysis and testing as well as working with our data scientists, analysts, engineers, other product managers and our end users to develop and deliver business requirements and product requirements to the technology teams.
Deliver on rigorous, quantifiable business objectives within a matrixed organization using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Connect data points, research and other insights into a clear articulation of needs and wants (derived from a variety of sources, including survey data, qualitative research, industry analysis and benchmarking, customer interviews, and internal data including data product usage logs).
Drive a clear strategy for prioritization and execution based on these needs and wants, setting clear goals and metrics that can measure the effectiveness of initiatives post-implementation, and throughout the lifecycle of a product.
Be an advocate for your area of focus within the organization, serving as the voice of your customers and advocating for the strategies, designs and plans to best achieve desired outcomes.
Lead projects through the definitional stages, working to ensure that we’re working to solve the right problem and have clearly articulated problem statements, requirements and goals identified.
Manage the backlog of smaller stakeholder wish-list items, working with stakeholders to quantify the benefits and prioritize these items.
Collaborate with multiple groups and disciplines to drive a cohesive effort across the organization.
Assist in the definition and articulation of a vision and roadmap for our products.
Develop deep domain expertise in cyber security data product related areas, such as schema design and our front-end tooling & infrastructure.
Your contributions to our dynamic organization:
5+ years of industry experience working on data-related initiatives and/or as a product manager.
Proficiency with SQL.
A technical and analytical background.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and an understanding and appreciations of the value of clear and respectful communication across all levels of the organization.
A personality that is comfortable with ambiguity while being focused on delivery.
A team player mentality, comfortable working with engineers, data scientists, analysts, product managers and end users across the organization on complex problems.
Very strong opinions on data security, data privacy and data ethics.
An endless curiosity and excitement to explore datasets in pursuit of a question or hypothesis.

Enterprise Role Overview - Key individual contributor, with accountability for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security & directory technology systems (software & hardware). Utilizes in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design & implement secure solutions to meet customer / client needs while protecting the Bank's assets. Develops and implements security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environment (e.g. client server, distributed, mainframe, etc.). Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. Typically 5-7 years of IT experience.
