The Creative Technology team at Ogilvy is seeking a digital enthusiast who stays abreast of digital solutions in the communications landscape and has an unfettered passion for ideating new and creative ways to apply them. The Creative Technology intern will be responsible for assisting creative technologists in their daily tasks, especially relating to research, idea generation and articulating how ideas can be brought to life. We are looking for someone who is available to work full time for an engagement of 10 weeks minimum this summer.
Represent Creative Technology as a creative ally and technical mediator
Work on projects with a fair degree of independence, contributing to ideation, design, and implementation
Able to take creative direction and expand on concept ideas for tactics and executions
Participate in and contribute to broad brainstorms
Research and technical development of prototypes coming out of ideation, ranging from AR/VR examples experiential and installations
Able to create decks and presentation slides with both visual and written clarity
Able to explain and present ideas to the broader team
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Design & Technology, a related field or will complete 3rd year of a 4-year undergraduate program prior to internship
Ability to work full time (40hrs/wk)
Prior internship experience at advertising agency or startup helpful
A great work ethic, positive attitude and team player
Keen eye for detail, visual/design aesthetics, and a deep passion for creating the best user experience.
Great communication skills: written, verbal and interpersonal
Maturity and attention to detail
Time management skills to facilitate involvement in multiple projects
Self-starter with can-do attitude and enthusiastic about creative problem solving
Proficiency in Word, Photoshop, Keynote; familiarity with mobile technology and devices
Passion and a general affinity for discovering and learning new and emerging technologies, e.g. AR/VR, AI/ML, wearables, experiential
Knowledge of tools and channels in the digital communications landscape such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
Audio and video editing and animation a plus
