The IACS*-accredited Company Counseling Center (CC) seeks a skilled clinician to join its team of professionals. The Center provides essential services to students, contributing to their mental health, functioning, and success as students and individuals. *International Accreditation of Counseling Services
The ideal candidate would be licensed to provide mental health services in Missouri and have at least one year of experience working in a university counseling center. Consideration will be given to those working towards licensure.

Other Education & Formal Training
Masters in Counseling or Social Work – required.
Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psyhcology or related field that meets criteria for Missouri state licensure as Psychologist preferred.
Related field that meets criteria for MO State licensure as Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will be considered.
APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at a university/college counseling center – preferred.
Word-Processing, Presentation, Other - Electronic health records system.
One (1) year relevant clinical experience required. Two or more years relevant clinical experience preferred.
Experience working in a college or university counseling center strongly preferred.
Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements
Licensed as Psychologist, Counselor, or Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist preferred.
MO State License as Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist preferred.
Qualified and able to provide supervision towards MO licensure as Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and/or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist preferred.
Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
Attention to detail, Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal, Knowledge of a University environment preferred, Human Relations/Interpersonal skills, Leadership skills: organization/meeting facilitation/project leadership, Supervisory skills, including motivation, delegation of duties, evaluation, etc, Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines, Maintain confidentiality

Preferred: Additional interest, training, and experience with particular populations/groups, specific client issues, treatment modalities, and/or treatment approaches.
Other Special Qualifications
Licensed to practice in Missouri as Psychologist, licensed Professional Counselor, licensed Clinical Social worker, or licensed Marriage and Family therapist. If unlicensed, must be fully licensed in Missouri with two (2) years of hire. If licensed, in a different state must be fully licensed in Missouri within six (6) months of hire.
Unlicensed applicants will be considered ONLY if there is qualified Counseling Center staff to provide supervision toward license.
