This position acts as department administrator. He or she will support the Epic Urban Promotion support staff. The position also includes but is not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Assist with all aspects of promotion administration for the Epic Urban Promotion department.
• Communicate with the Finance department on behalf of the Epic Urban Promotion department
• Participate in discussions regarding budget spends and needs.
• Obtain weekly expenditure reports from format heads and review to make sure we stay within budget.
• Create and distribute PO numbers for all formats internally and to our outside vendors.
• Process all expenses/invoices for all formats within the department and ensures payments are timely.
• Keep records of departmental compliance paperwork.
• Liaise between Promotion staff and Art Department, Release Planning Department, and Digital in an effort to get single releases out to radio in a timely manner via our Promo Tool or other third party services.
• Assist with all trade advertising campaigns both print and online for all formats.
• Attend trade conventions and support all logistic and budgets surrounding these events.
• Review singles before they are digitally delivered to radio via in-house and third-party outlets.
• Responsible for communicating with Business Affairs when approval is needed for commercial use of artist images, videos by radio for billboards and TV commercials.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Promotion experience preferred.
• Multi-tasking and good people skills are key for this position.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Remain flexible with ever-changing role.
• Occasional attendance at trade conventions may be required.
