The Coordinator, Program Strategy will be responsible for the daily execution of the linear schedule, while assisting in planning all aspects of the network’s programming strategy. This role will help create and communicate the department’s linear and non-linear goals and needs to all key partners. This position will report to the Director of Program Strategy.
Build the network’s daily episodic schedule, utilizing ratings reports and overall strategy initiatives to create a strong programming line-up
Create VOD/TVE/STB publishing documents, and monitor all platforms to ensure accuracy of branding, tune-in, and metadata
Maintain scheduling strategy documents by updating and distributing information to internal and external teams
Contribute to new linear programming strategies by monitoring competition and studying ratings
Help create multiplatform strategies by analyzing current metrics and evaluating/recording content rights
Work with Media Planning team to help execute the on air strategy of the network
Serve as a Department back-up, cross-training and assisting in all Linear, Multiplatform and Media Planning needs
Build and maintaining strong relationships with outside partners, keeping consistent and effective communication over program offering
Minimum Requirements for Education/Experience:
Experience as administrative assistant or relevant Internship preferred
Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
Self-starter, able to make recommendations and execute tasks with minimal direction. Requires excellent decision making capabilities.
Candidate must be strong team player and be willing to assist organization in various tasks.
Ability to multitask, be flexible, and work in a fast paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Knowledge of Dropbox
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance. Ability to work overtime as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Should possess a passion for television, kids’ television preferred with a curiosity to understand viewer behavior.
