The Marketing Coordinator will be a key contributor in managing promotions, collaborating with the Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, and IT teams to deliver promotional support for omni channel initiatives as well as driving Company website revenue via the email channel. This individual will support the daily execution of marketing emails and promotions, track key performance metrics on an ongoing basis, derive insights from results, and share recommendations with the broader cross-functional teams.
Essential Job Functions
Support the management of the email and promotions process workflow including planning email calendar with Merchants, ensuring timely completion of Creative Briefs, collaborating with Creative and Merchandizing Operations on content, obtaining timely approvals on email and promotional content from Leadership and working with QA to test email and site assets.
Work closely with ESP and internal team members to plan and launch daily emails. Help manage vendor relationship with Cheetahmail – Company website’s email vendor of record.
Work with broader Marketing team to enhance email segmentation and develop email campaigns with a focus on a more personalized one-to-one customer relationship.
Develop and execute test plans for key email components such as subject lines, timing, creative, segmentation, frequency, etc.
Represent the marketing and email position among cross-functional partnerships, presenting the marketing team’s case for program enhancements and new initiatives in order to meet goals.
Weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reporting on email performance metrics, analyzing results and identifying opportunities to drive increased revenue.
Support and communicate promotions through omni-channels; through email, on site, and full line Company Stores, ensuring cohesive messaging throughout.
Proactively resolve problems and roadblocks in order to keep work flow on schedule and escalate higher level conflicts to manager for resolution.
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and critical skill-set as well as the ability to project manage several deliverables. Key requirements for this role include:
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
A passion for digital and email marketing with at least 1 year working with email marketing campaigns
Strong problem solving skills, ability to perform under pressure and demonstrated leadership skills
Excellent data management, reporting and analytical skills
Possess strong project management, organizational and time management skills
Ability to think strategically and work independently.
High energy – must be a deadline driven, highly flexible, and a multi-tasking master.
Comfort level with Excel. Fluency in Word and PowerPoint preferred.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a corporate work environment with multiple stakeholders.
