Job TitleConversion Business Analyst
This position can work remotely anywhere in the United States.
What does a great Business Analyst do?
You will provide business analysis for XRoads from Company, a flexible, cost-effective data delivery solution with a specialized focus in data management, transformation and delivery to and from financial entities, their vendors and processors. You will develop expert knowledge of the XRoads application to work with the other business unit associates, Sales, Conversion Analyst, Development, Production, and Infrastructure Teams, and our customers (primarily financial institute clients) to gather and document requirements, provide training for end users, and perform implementation duties.
As a Business Analyst, you can look forward to:
Utilizing project management skills of communication, organization, planning and presentation
Anticipating business needs and thinking with a business owner mind-set based on a strong fundamental knowledge of how Xroads can be used to enhance customer’s transmissions
Gathering, translating, and documenting client business requirements for integration / customization
Performing analysis and mapping of customer data
Collaborating with the compliance team to ensure all solutions conform with internal and external Audit and Compliance standards
Collaborating with sales support, business unit, development, infrastructure, implementation, and production team members through all phases of the project
Planning, executing, and documenting activities to test successful implementation of business objectives
Assuring issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner
Supporting the client through all phases of the implementation project
Ensuring accurate data conversions
Assisting in creating technical analyses and design for new business opportunities
Creating, reviewing, and revising documentation
Training new and existing customers
Seeking opportunities to updates skills and industry knowledge to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
You’re the kind of person who:
Has a strong background working in a client or customer facing role. You have worked in the banking, credit union, or financial services technology industry. You have the ability to understand business problems and opportunities in the context of requirements and can recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. You can organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a client or customer facing role
Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking, credit union or financial services technology industry
Experience managing or coordinating project activities
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to travel 5%-10%
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Experience performing conversion analysis in the banking, credit union, or payments industry
Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification
Experience with financial industry audit requirements
Strong application knowledge of Microsoft applications, web training tools (WebEx and Skype), and Structured Query Language (SQL)
