As a Controlling Professional you will be working within the Company Energy Controlling team to support management with executive management financial reporting preparation for the SE US business as well as supporting various other financial closing and reporting activities. You will be coordinating and preparing monthly and quarterly management financial reporting packages for Company Energy Inc.. You will proactively engage internal customers at various levels of the organization, facilitate healthy channels for communications, and successfully support the
management of, and provide overall direction to, the organization regarding management financial reporting topics and processes.
Coordination and preparation of the monthly and quarterly management financial reporting package for Company Energy US including analysis and explanation of major trends in key line financials as well as forecast developments ensuring accuracy and completeness in commentary.
Coordination and reporting of various monthly items for Company Energy US including major orders booked, major sales recorded and special profit impacts.
Coordination and preparation of various external audit reports including quarterly financial statement analytics.
Work closely with various internal departments to ensure an efficient closing and reporting process.
Provide technical assistance, support and guidance to the Siemsns Energy Business Units and internal customers on various topics such as reporting requirements, closing processes and financial reports.
Identify, develop and drive process efficiencies that improve accuracy, quality and timeliness of financial data and other department deliverables.
Assist with the consolidation of the FC and budget process when required.
Champion and foster an environment of continuous improvement with primary emphasis on process re-engineering and automation of existing procedures.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
5-8 years of successful experience in accounting/controlling with a minimum of 3 years in a controlling position for a Level 7 role, or 8-10 years of successful experience in accounting/controlling with a minimum of 3 years in a controlling position for a Level 6 role.
Experience in the preparation of financial reporting packages and monthly closing activities.
Experience in general accounting is a plus.
Successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above
Proven capabilities in using ERP systems (SAP, etc.)
Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with financial reporting software.
Strong and demonstrated analytical skills and presentation skills.
Excellent communication, writing, reporting skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
CPA or other equivalent professional certification
Experience in general accounting
