GCF FBA Finance – Controllership SFA

Global Customer Fulfillment has an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to lead Controllership for the Worldwide Fulfillment by Company Seller Reimbursements and Supply Chain Excellence teams. We’re looking for a strong leader that will take ownership and drive change in a dynamic global business environment. In this role you will ensure that Company’s finance operations processes stay ahead of risks associated with growth in the areas of process design, internal control effectiveness, computer system integration, and other relevant areas. To support this quickly growing business you must be highly analytical and have outstanding auditing and problem solving skills.
Serve as the finance leader working directly with the product teams, accounting teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes to support the fast-growing business.
Partner with accounting and business teams to lead monthly close process, ensuring financial results are accurate and in control.
Review, recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving the overall control environment. Review and approve seller claims of lost and damaged inventory.
Influence business decisions with effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives. Must be able to effectively communicate strategies / plans to VP level management and have experience influencing and working with a wide variety of stakeholders in a cross-matrix environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar discipline with analytical bias
5+ years of experience in finance roles
Experience with MS Office and Excel
Experience working with data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Access, Essbase and/or Cognos) and other financial systems
Advanced degree (MFA, MBA) or C.P.A.
Proven leadership achieving effective results in a fast-paced, growing and ambiguous environment
Demonstrable leadership skills and experience in a business partnering role
Superior attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, though never losing sight of the big picture
An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and to simplify both finance and operational processes
Leadership experience with demonstrated and proven ability to take on and create new solutions
Demonstrated ability to deal with adversity and rapidly changing operating conditions while successfully driving complex and milestone driven projects
Previous experience in an E-Commerce or Retail company
Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
Proven capability of advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, dealing with ambiguity, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Strong leader with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work in uncharted territory
Curiosity to learn a complex business area
